About

I’m a Wellness Design Consultant and a Design Editor and exploring the relationship between space, place and the ways we live. My work bridges design, wellbeing and communication, combining hands-on design experience with editorial leadership and consulting across the built environment.

A Design Career Rooted in Practice

I began drawing homes at nine years old, long before I had the language for what I sensed instinctively: that space has a profound impact on how we feel and behave. While studying interior design, I was drawn to the psychological side of environments – the human experience of space – a curiosity that has shaped my work ever since.

After graduating, I was accepted to study Architecture in London – an ambition that has continued to inform how I think about the built environment. Instead, I built my career in interior design, developing a deep understanding of how spaces are planned, detailed and delivered.

My early career spanned residential and commercial interior design and design management in London and Amsterdam, delivering projects for brands including Burberry, Harrods, Selfridges and Bloomingdale’s, alongside commercial clients such as Barclays and UCL.

Wellbeing in Space

Since 2017, I’ve focused on wellbeing in space. Driven by a curiosity to better understand how environments influence health, I became a WELL Accredited Professional (WELL AP) in 2019, studied health and nutrition with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York and completed Mental Health First Aid training.

Over time, this work expanded my thinking beyond interiors alone to the wider factors that shape how people live – from nature and community to safety and daily rhythms.

Having lived across Canada, Australia, the UK and the Netherlands, with time spent in Italy, my perspective is also informed by different cultures and ways of living, and by how place influences what we value in our spaces.

Designers Mind

I’m the founder of Designers Mind, an initiative focused on mental health and wellbeing in the design industry. My work in this area was recognised with a leadership award, reflecting my long-standing commitment to the human side of creative practice.

Editorial Leadership

My editorial work sits alongside my design background, exploring how architecture and interiors influence the way we live. As Editor of OnOffice, I led editorial exploring wellness in designed spaces, including producing a dedicated wellbeing print issue.

I now consults for WLLW, a platform dedicated to healthy homes, as Editor & Brand Director, supporting editorial direction and helping shape how ideas around design and wellbeing are communicated. My writing explores the relationship between design, wellbeing and the spaces around us. As a speaker and moderator, I’ve led conversations for brands including Vitra, Arper, Bolon and Doshi Levien, and appeared at events such as Decorex, Surface Design Show and Workplace Design Show.

Work Today

I work with architects and designers, brands and publications through wellness design consulting, editorial and advisory work. My projects span residential and commercial environments and explore the relationship between design and wellbeing.

My work often centres on questions such as:

  • How do spaces support wellbeing in practice?

  • How do place, nature and community shape the way we live?

  • What does it mean to design for safety, stability and quality of life?

  • How can brands and studios tell meaningful stories about the spaces they create?
